A nurse-midwife in New York City, she loves urban fantasy, slipstream, and medical themes. Her current writing projects include witches, space opera, and paranormal romance.

Carole is an active member of critters.org and moderates an online peer writer’s group. So she reads just about everything. Her first love is science fiction and fantasy because walking through walls is less painful than running into them.
