John Dodds - Columnist: From the Podosphere

John Dodds (John Dodds) jakk1954 (at) googlemail (dot) com reviews podcast fiction for The Fix in his monthly column, covering short genre fiction in audio format.

John lives and works in Edinburgh. He trained as a journalist and writes crime and horror fiction. His stories have appeared in a number of print and online magazines, including Breaking Windows: A Fantastic Metropolis Sampler (Prime Books), Shorts 5 (Polygon), and The Horror Express. Three of his stories have received honourable mentions in The Year’s Best Fantasy and Horror, and more of his short fiction will appear in the forthcoming anthology, Old Blood, New Souls. He has also sold a story, “Rapunzel’s Room,” to audio podcast magazine Pseudopod.

His first crime novel, Bone Machines, is available from Bright Spark. He is currently writing a second one, provisionally called Kali’s Kiss.
